Origin

Before Nezeville.

Before there was Nezeville, there was a lawyer in a quiet office, watching the same stories play out on repeat. Marriages dissolving. Women trapped without language. Families fighting battles they didn't know they could win. Receipts everywhere — but no one telling the truth in a way ordinary people could actually use.

I'm Nigerian by blood, Canadian by passport, and Edmontonian by where my kids go to school. I trained as a barrister, spent years in banking, and somewhere along the way realized that the people I most wanted to reach weren't sitting across from me in conference rooms. They were on the other side of a screen — looking for someone who would tell them the truth without the legalese, without the judgment, and without the polite Nigerian silence.

The turn

Why I started Nezeville.

Nezeville started because too many people are paying the price for things they were never warned about. The bad marriages no one called out. The legal traps that everyone "should have known." The financial decisions made in the dark. The relationships that consumed people who deserved better.

I built this brand to be the older sister, the auntie, the trusted lawyer in the family — for everyone who doesn't have one. Edu-tainment, because if you don't laugh first, you won't listen. With receipts, because we don't peddle opinions here. We bring the law, the facts, and the lived experience.
